I have been NOIR all year and have not take the free cruise. Unless I get lucky (yea, right), I suspect my NOIR will go away in two weeks. As I understand it, I have to book while I am still NOIR and take it by the end of the year.

    Thoughts? Experiences taking the cruise?

Onboard tier benefits are valid for new bookings only made by Sept. 30, 2014, for sailings through Dec. 31, 2014

All I've taken is the Platinum cruise but I was pretty happy with the experience. I had my cruise chosen already from the Royal Caribbean web-site. The staff who book your cruise are very helpful. Once I got on board, there was a note in my stateroom telling me to stop in to the casino after the muster drill to meet your host. There is where you are given your free drink tickets, and you can schedule your specialty dinner. I think quite a bit has changed since I took my cruise in 2013. Have you picked a cruise out yet?

I assume you still paid taxes, etc?

Yes, taxes, port fees and tips, depending on your dining choice.

In May of last year when I was still NOIR I took the free cruise on Allure of the Seas and had a great time. While my husband and I could have had a ocean view balcony cabin for free we spent a few extra bucks and upgraded to a junior suite. My friend who was also NOIR and went as a single took the ocean view balcony cabin and only had to pay the taxes and port fees.

This year I'm M-Life Platinum and I already had a cruise booked on Oasis of the Seas for a owners suite and I was surprised to find out that they would give me the value of the Platinum 5 day cruise to one already booked and they discounted by $750.00 what was already a bargain price on that cruise. I won't sail on this cruise until October 27th.

I assume you already know at NOIR level you get a few more drink coupons then Platinum level and also get a free bottle of wine with the free speciality dinner? BTW, as long as you do gamble onboard it's easy to continue to have one of the hosts give you drink coupons however they can only be used in the casino bar.

If you like to cruise this is one of the few perks in my opinion that M-Life has for NOIR and Platinum tier levels that is worthwhile.

I guess I better just book it. Hope some personal reasons do not keep us from actually going.

I just got back from my free Platinum cruise on Enchantment of the Seas. Wow, what an amazing trip!! Felt very welcomed and the specialty dinner at Chops was delightful! We did not use the drink coupons as we opted to buy the ultimate beverage package which got us unlimited drinks for the entire trip at ANY bar! We also did not use the free 30 min of internet as we enjoyed being "Disconnected" from the world. This may be the best perk of mlife, IMHO.

If anyone likes to cruise and is a decent player, let me know, I have an independent host that can book pretty much any cruise with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises for just the port charges for decent players...

We have been on the Allure of the Seas twice and are going this weekend on the Celebrity Silhouette!!

If you have a decent track record with CET or MLife, he can take care of you!!

P.M. me if you need his contact info.

Royal Caribbean and Celebrity(owned by RCCL) have their own casino booking called the Blue Chip Club.

They just comped a verandah on Celebrity's newest ship,Reflection for a 2/14 sailing.
Like Evoni, I paid to upgrade to a suite.
They have been great to work with directly and very accommodating.
They said I would get free drinks in the casino but purchased the drink package so I could cover my wife's frozen drinks during the day.

Just got a email about my annual cruise but when I check the dates .. I have to book and sail by March 31 2015.. When I check the website.. There are no dates available for my nearest port. Can this annual cruise be exchanged
For free play or comped nights etc?

No, it's for a free cruise only. A lot of times offers might not be in your online M-Life account, so if you are looking for comped nights and free play best to call up the M-Life casino you want want to stay at and ask them to check your account for any offers.
