Theres no right answer( slots vs table low roller vs High Roller comp room or getting free play.......)

Consensus seems to be if you are a low roller slot player its pretty easy to get free room at CET properties

I'd have to say CET. Every trip we've stayed and played exclusively at MGM properties and have never gotten a free room. We're not the biggest players by any means but recently went to Harrahs Rincon since we live nearby and played for about an hour and can get free rooms pretty much whenever in Vegas at their lower properties.

For video poker it's Boyd, especially if you're a quarter or 50 cent level player. The combination of great pay tables, easy room comps, good promos and food comps are tough to beat.

On the Strip, probably CET. If you're a mid-tier player I'd go with Cosmo since they have better standard rooms than most of CET...

    What do you play?
    How much do you play?
    How many days?
What is a good comp to you?
What is a bad comp to you?
    How often do you visit?

Any answer you get to your original question is pretty much going to be worthless.

600 points equals a dollar worth of food at Boyd owned restaurants (not all are Boyd) 1000 points equals a dollar worth of free play.

CASH too..every 1000 points, you can get a $1 CASH (I think the minimum is $10 though)

Along with needing more information..... it is just as important to know wher eyou like to play. If casino A has a better comp plan than B (and works for your type of play), but you do not like to play at casino A, then it doesn't matter.

Thanks, I figured she misunderstood me. I went to the local property yesterday cause they had 5Xs pts of VP and figured I can earn that for food or play in Vegas.

IMHO, it really depends on where you feel "luckiest" and where you money goes the furthest. I have never had any luck at CET casinos, so on the strip, I play (Platinum) at mLife.

"They say" that the comps are better at mLife vs. CET, but if your luck is "bad" at mLife, why play there?

If you have a "favorite" restaurant, that may also affect your decision.

I made 10+ trips to LV this year. 50/50 stayed at mLife and the D (downtown). I got much better comps downtown.
