    My Trip Report

I love a local casino near here called Firekeepers. When people hit jackpots, they announce it over their PA system, "so and so is our latest moneykeeper" This past Saturday, I decided it was time for a trip to see my friend, as its been awhile. I called my host and squared away eats and a suite. My husband decides he doesn't want to go, so fine, I'll go by myself!! I start out poorly, down about $3k when I put a $100 in a $5 slot, 2 coins for max bet, and bam! Triple Hot Ice just paid $18,000.00!!!!! I couldn't believe it and still can't!!! Now I know what it feels like to be a moneykeeper!!! I took em for a total of $30k Saturday night - I was unstoppable after that win!!!

    WOW!

Nice hit ! Will this change the B-day trip at all or just stick to the original plan? Have a great trip!

I've always been curious about Firekeepers. It's about 70 miles to the west of me, while the Detroit casinos are 35 miles to the east so they always get my business.

I'm sure I'll check it out someday.

I would suggest you give it a try at least once - I find it to be much nicer to me than the Detroit casinos.

AMS you should give it a try! It's a different crowd than the Detroit casinos and it's almost as large as the MGM Grand. Not as good of foid choices. Gambling-wise, it has mostly all of the Carny Games, but no Spanish 21 nor Free Bet for Black Jack games. It's got a nice poker room as well. Finally, the ventilation system seems better to me than most, as it doesn't seem as smokey.

Good Luck in Vegas! I think we'll be passing each other at DTW.
