I was checking into ways to use my AMEX points and saw that you can get a $100 gift card for 12k AMEX points. I know this isn't the best redemption rate, but I'm curious - can I use that gift card at Mirage or the MGM Grand? Wasn't sure if they were site specific...

Just curious where you saw that. I was just on the AMEX gift site and didn't see it. mLife gift cards are not site specific.

Never mind, I found it. These appear to be generic mLife gift cards with the specific resort picture on them. I sent a email to the concierge at Mirage to see if he had an answer. Will post the answer as soon as I get it.

Verified by the Mirage concierge. Good at any mLife property.

I received a reply from the Mirage concierge:

"The Mirage gift card may be used at any of our sister M-life properties for everything, excluding retail & gambling. You may purchase the gift card online, or over the phone with the concierge at 702-791-7416."
