I got new Plaza offer online today: 3 free nights,$5 free play/stay.
Interesting part of this offer is it states:"to qualify for free nights, member needs to achieve 200 points per day or prevailing rates apply".

Approximately how much play would it take to insure 200 points a day to acquire the 200 points per day? On the surface this seems to be a reasonable request for a free room. BTW, I received that very same offer.

And video poker is $3 per point. One hour of blackjack at $25 per hand is 125 points.

How about a room for "X" # of $'s and IF you achieve 200 points we will comp you out? Same offer but at least you would know what "prevailing rates" would be.......

Interesting stipulation. That kind of play is way below the minimum where almost any property would send repeat offers. That's like 1 hour of quarter VP a day. They must be getting a lot of no plays in on teaser offers.

I'm staying there in a few weeks thanks to an offer match from Curt, but they will get my normal downtown play which will net me at least 8 times the points they're asking for.

the 200 points would be easy, but i would make sure about the taxes and the resort fees that apply cause sometime with the fees tacked on become extensive. Otherwise i would def do it
