So based on some positive comments we decided to book Caesars, AC.

Again this is just a quick weekend getaway for me and the wife and this will be our first time in AC. We are flying direct from Halifax to Philly, and then getting a ride compliments of Caesars to AC.

The host arranging our trip for us is booking us a suite, but im not sure what options are available at the property.

Anyone who has been to Caesars have any tips or advice on this property? Looking for as much information as I can as we are only there for a short time and would like to know any insider tips before we go...

    Thanks in advance!!!

    Cheers!

I know you're a 7*. Make sure you go to the Seven Stars Lounge. They have a menu you order from and everything I've tried so far was good. They're only open Friday - Sunday now. Check more info on the sevenstarsinsider.com website for other tips.

Is the gaming day @ Caesars in Atlantic city the same as Vegas? (6:00am-6:00am)

Keep an extremely low profile if you go to Harrah's.

GC, can't offer much in the way of advice for Caesars specifically, but if I were heading to AC this weekend, here are a few suggestions.

The weather looks like rain for Saturday, so when it rains at the shore, its time to hit a bar and have a few drinks until the weather clears. It am a fan of the Landshark Bar and Grill in across from Resorts. The food is nothing to write home about, but the atmosphere is festive and you're on the beach overlooking the ocean. I'll bet its warmer than Halifax! I have a Foursquare ap on my Blackberry q10 (no snickering from the Apple crowd, bought the wife and kids iPhones) and I would check in at Caesars Toga bar and get a free drink, up to $10. I would also check out the Mountain Bar at Bally's Wild Wild West for a couple of bargain brews. I would also walk across from Caesars and check out the Ocean One pier and grab a coffee and look out the windows at the waves rolling in as the rain is falling.

As for Sunday, the forecast is sunny and 80, or 27 C for the rest of the world, so in the morning, I would grab a coffee, sorry, no Tim Horton's, and walk down the boardwalk. There is a bike rental near Bally's and I would rent bikes or a tandem and bike along the boardwalk. There are no hills, just make sure your tires are properly inflated. You would be amazed at how much you can take in while pedaling along the boards. Don't leave your bike unattended, have breakfast when you return to the rental store.

As for restaurant recommendations, I don't know anything about Caesars, but I like the old Knife and Fork just for nostalgia, it's 100 years old and could be a backdrop for Boardwalk Empire. Go to the third floor where the wives went while their men were smoking cigars and drinking brandy on the second floor. I am also a big fan of the White House Sub Shop, but it closes in the evening. I like Angelo's Fairmont Tavern for red sauce Italian, as well as Tony's Baltimore Grill for bar pizza. I also like the Deck bar at Golden Nugget, they often have a band, there is something magical about listening to a live band with a beer and your best gal overlooking the water.

You are seven stars and I'm not even in the same galaxy, but these are just a few of my favorite things to do while down the shore. From reading your trip reports and posts, you already know how to gamble. Good luck!

I like Caesar's; not as much as Bally's, but it's close. I love the slots at Bally's as you could choose drinks from them and your tier credits are clearly shown.

But, Caesar's is big, nice decor, and dont forget to throw a nickel in the pool by the big statue for luck.

BTW, after Hilton, Revel, Showboat, Plaza shut down, not many choices for gamblers left in AC especially not high rollers.

I'm not sure which tower my suite was in but it had a butler and a butler button on the phone but never used the butler since I was only there 1 night.

Caesars is a nice property, but it's not like it's bigger brother in Vegas.
Do go check out the borgata, nicest place in ac with great restaurants. That is the place to be in ac even though I never have luck there.

Hope you have a great time!!

Totally forgot about the knife and fork. Do they still have a knife and fork crossed as deco on the outside?

Also check out White House subs. Might be a long line but it is a must.
