Friends, does this mean I lose (Not that they mean anything) the 1.7m TC's and I go to zero after Oct 1???? If so, am I losing out on something? Don't think so.

Everyone goes to zero on 10/1.
    We all start over then.
    CET runs on calendar years.
    MLife goes 10/1-9/31.

I received the same email, but it was missing just a few tier credits. :evillaugh
I'm not worried about about losing the credits as offers are based on play and not your tier level.

1.7million TC and all they give you is PLAT? Not that NOIR is worth that much more, but geez... that is alot of coin in. I am assuming you are getting some really suite/sweet offers.

You will still be platinum, but you will return to zero. If you want to be platinum after 10/1/15 you'd have to re-earn all those credits.

That email is sent to try to get players at sub-Platinum levels to make a trip In September to reach the next level. They shouldn't even bother sending it to Platinums.

I'm platinum and I'm booked thur my host on a visit in Sept.
However I did not get that particular email offer.

Is it possible that I take advantage of the double TC earning Sept month?

The offer was available to people using their M Life corporate offer - not sure if it is available on a host offer. If you are currently platinum and already have over 200,000 tier credits for the year - you will already be platinum until September 30, 2015. Earning more tier credits isn't going to gain you anything - unless you are close to being invited to be Noir.

Your are right, not really going to gain much benefit from double TC.

    I wondered the same thing.
Did most of the TC come from casino play? How much came from purchases on property for meals, drinks, store purchases?

Packer, did you ask your host about Noir? 1.7 Mio is a lot.

It's been posted that Noir requires 100k theo now. So for a table player that should equate to 3,000,000 TCs which he is pretty far from. There is too big of a gap between Platinum and Noir...but given the lack of any real benefits with either tier it's hard to care.

I do not believe that 100K figure is correct.

I don't know firsthand and MLife doesn't publish the requirements for Noir. But the 100k theo is what some Noir players here have posted as coming from their hosts.

Why do you think its incorrect?

Because my host laughed when I mentioned that figure. There are other factors involved, such as amount of trips you make and what casino you concentrate your play at. Your host can put you up for it and then someone high up the food chain makes the decision. A player can make Noir at Excalibur but wouldn't make the cut at Bellagio. When everyone says its random and there is no defined number, from what I've been told, they're correct. I'm Platinum and have been told I do not miss any benefits that Noir get. But I still want the friggin' card. Lol

I was unofficially told If I hit 2m I will be there. We will see in 2 weeks! By the way I got an email from them double or triple points (Don't remember which) until Sept 30. Also, Im sure I have more than 100k Theo.. Not positive though.

At that level, except for the bonus on EC and PointPlay, most of the Noir benefits are probably redundant (ie you'd be getting them anyway), but the official differences are:

40% bonus on Express Comps and PointPlay (vs. 30% at Platinum)
    Guaranteed Hotel Reservations
    Guaranteed Restaurant Reservations
    Best Table Available (at restaurants)
    Guaranteed Show Reservations
    Limo to/from airport

Obviously I get the above anyway except the 40% which I don't care about anyway. I guess it would be an ego boost to be invited to Noir only. Especially since im way up playing there for the year. I asked my host about perks like private cruises, taking trips to the Bahamas and so on and he told me it is for mainly slot high rollers not table game players? Apparently there are table games to the cruise ships but low limits. No $1000 tables. Don't know..
