Does anyone know in the one club allows a couple to have a joint account? We have a joint acct. at Tropicana & it usually pays out nicely. Or do we have to have seperate cards?

I don't know about the new One Card (that's the one that will work in all Mandalay properties?) Other casinos owned by that company (excalibur is the one jumping to mind) require each spouse to have his/her own account. We've already had to change once with excalibur (they upgraded a year and a half ago, I think) so if the new card is going to be for all Mandalay properties, we'll have to switch again :(

We're staying at the Tropicana April 23-27 and we're going to become club members. You state that they comped you well. What did they comp you?
Did you play slots/table games there? How would you rate them? I mean do you lose your money fast or can you play for a good amount of time. Just curious.

I always just sign myself up and get an extra card that Dan uses. He's even used it at the tables. :D Occasionally a pit boss will give him the "wink-wink-nudge-nudge Have a great day, Sonya" and tease him a little, but he doesn't care. smile.gif
If you're playing machines, there's no problem with you just getting 2 cards in one name. On the other hand, if you each sign up with your own accounts, you can get 2 offers in the mail that you can use back to back when visiting. smile.gif

Well, we are not big spenders but at the Trop we played the slots for about 3 - 5 hours a day & they took care of our room bill for the week & gave us some show tickets. It made me happy!

Yes the 1Club does allow for joint accounts. We just returned from a 5 day trip and stayed at Luxor but my wife really had good luck at the MB Slot Machines (1 and 5 dollar). The points for all of the MB resorts is the same, however being rated at tables differ, for MB you need to be a "Green Chipper" to be rated, but with same 1Club card you can be rated at $10 dollars at Luxor and $5 at Excalibur (That should tell you something). After 5 days we racked up 70 bucks of slot comps (didn't play ALL that much) and 30 bucks in Table comps (only turned in my card 3 times for an hours each, 2 times at craps and once at BJ). We thought it was a good value for as much time as we spent and the MB Resorts. We fell in love with Downtown (more on that in our trip report in a few days).
Enjoy your trip!!

Well that's exciting! I much prefer joint accounts, since we don't gamble so much...We'll just retire all our old individual cards to the Vegas memories box :D
