New and expanded poker rooms around Vegas

Many are expanding, including Bellagio, Sahara and Palms, and some are planning to (re)open a poker room. The Golde Nugget wants to have theirs open in time for the WSOP crowd. Good article! I can only hope the poker boom continues. I've read posts from some of the older poker players who are particularly excited about the reopening of the Golden Nugget poker room.

On the other hand, Mohegan Sun in Connecticut closed their poker room in May 2003 because "Connecticut can't support two poker rooms." I guess that's why there was up to a 6 hour wait to get into a game at Foxwoods a couple of weekends ago. graemlins/grrr.gif
