We got a pretty mixed bag of reactions when redeeming our MyVegas rewards over the holiday weekend. A couple of folks were just doing it for the first time. It doesn't seem to be terribly popular with the staff because they apprently have to enter it into the MyVegas system and then transfer it into the MGM M Life to print the comp. Anyway, everyone was nice about it.

-$75 F&B at New York, New York. Must be taken as single $75 comp to restaurant you name. Does include alcohol, but expires at midnight of day issued.

-$50 F&B at Circus Circus. Money loaded onto account for one time use. Did not include alcohol. Lady said it was good for 72 hours.

-Circus Circus $20 Midway Credit. Handed us a bundle of 20 game passes. Single pass worked on games over $1.

-Mirage Dolphin Habitat. Printed out a comp for us and they said it was good for 90 days.

I just redeemed a night at the Mirage over Xmas. They had me call a special MyVegas hotline and they took care of me. The lady knew all about it, she was a MyVegas person obviously. Now, I haven't gone on the trip yet, but I'm confident it all worked out correctly.

There are signs ALL over Vegas, everywhere. So I mean they are definitely promoting the use of their game.

I redeemed the Mirage's buffet reward on our trip in beginning of November. It took a while to get the print out. Then at the buffet, the cashier couldn't figure out how to process it. It didn't happen to us but a family in front of us, they had about 3 free buffets as well from MyVegas. It took about 30 minutes between the reward desk and then the cashier. Hopefully in February it will go more smoothly.

I should be getting 2 rooms. They sent me a reservation with a total of $109 for one. I should be redeeming the for the second in a few days. Looks like a regular reservation to me.

so far my sister and I have purchased through the myVegas:

1. Tickets to Carrot Top
2. $150 Dining Credit to Tender (Luxor)
3. $50 Dining Credit at Mirage
4. $50 Dining Credit at Monte Carlo

We'll each have another 25k in coins to redeem between now and our trip in mid-January, and cant decide if we should load up on drinks or more food...

has anyone purchased any of the "drink special" credits?? Did they give you any grief or trouble at the bar redeeming them? and I wonder if there are any drink reestructions on them too..

thanks!

I had no problems at all redeeming the Mirage buffet pass.

The guy at the MLife desk knew exactly what I was talking about and filled out the form with no questions.

The buffet was good too!

from what I understand, the way it works with the upgrades is the upgrade is only applicable on regular room rates (no promo of any kind). You redeem the voucher, and then you call and make a reservation for the upgraded suite and pay the rate of the standard room.

I may be wrong, but from what I've read, thats how it works.

redeemed 2 prizes last trip..

$100 Brand Steakhouse at Monte Carlo - Went to MLife and they basically put the $100 on the players card. Didn't have a problem until the lady accidently charged my card with someone else's bill. Other than that, well worth the points for this place. Steak is pretty bomb.

Mirage Dolphin Habitat - Again, went to Mlife. (has to be done at the hotel the prize is located in) Got a slip, went to the box office at habitat and traded in for 2 tickets.

Going to redeem my free night at Mirage this coming weekend. So far easy process, reserved a date and was told just to go to front desk and check in with your players card along with ID.

I redeemed the Afternoon Tea at the B and both the crepe and pastry at Aria. Mo issues all around. HOWEVER, despite what I was told at the Mlife desk, the Petrossian Bar really does require a reservation. It doesn't look like they book up often and can take a same day ressie no problem. They need time to set out your settings with the silver and white table cloth and to prepare the scones so they are served warm.

As for Aria, you are given a $10 voucher for the crepe and pastry. $10 will cover all the sweet crepes but all the savory ones are a little over. On the pastry side, nothing is $10. I was told initially that you just get one pastry for the voucher but I was able to buy a soda to use up the balance at the register.

Please tell me if you need to use the dining credits all at one sitting or do they give you a card and use until the credits are gone.

can you purchase the dining credits ahead of time or do you have to purchase while in vegas?

I believe the dining credits are for one visit, and you redeem the voucher whenever you want, then take it to the mlife desk for the voucher, and I believe you have to use it that day.

HERES MY STORY

got 2 bellagio buffet passes. The wording on the passes says "not valid during holiday menus".

I emailed the buffet manager and she responded with this "out turn around is at 3pm. We do not ask out guests to leave for the turn around. If you arrive before 3pm you can enjoy both brunch and dinner"

We arrived at the bellagio at about 2:45 cutting it close i know

i walked to the Mlife desk everything seemed to be going smoothly until the clerk walked away then this dude in a suit came up to me and said "sir Myvegas coupons are not valid during holiday periods" i then explained to him the email exchange with the manager and i also added that unfortunately i probably wont make it now with this holding me up. He replied "let me get you a comp".

Another guy in a suit asked who i spoke with and i pulled out my phone and showed him the emails he laughed and gave me a Slots Comp for the buffet.

i just checked my Myvegas account at the passes are still valid they have not moved them over to the redeemed section !!! awesome

P.S good thing i got comped. the price for 2 people for that buffet would have been over $90 bucks =O

We are headed to Vegas in February or March. I don't have an MLife card yet. Can I print my certificate from the game and then go sign up when I get there? Or can I sign up online?

But you can signup online:

How were you able to redeem for weekend nights? The "fine print" says Sun-Thurs, and when I asked someone on the MyVegas phone line for a weekend night stay she said "no". What's your secret?!

I booked a free night at Monte Carlo, just to see the quality of room while I was staying at Aria (or was it a secondary escort room? :evillaugh ) I booked over the phone through MyVegas, they took care of the rest of that part. I went to check in and the guy looked confused then told me it would be $60 for the night, I replied - it is comped as a part of this myvegas deal. He called over a manager and then was instructed on what to do - must of been his first time doing so. Easy as that, the rest worked like a regular hotel check in/out.

Redeemed the Cravings buffet pass last week. Only issue I encountered was that for some reason only certain ppl at the Mirage mlife desk were able to handle myVegas rewards. The person who called me up said she was the only person at the desk who couldn't process them. It took less than 5 minutes before I was on my way to the buffet. And might I say...this used to be my favorite buffet in Vegas, but now I'm sure glad it was free! The selection wasn't very good at all and I've noticed it consistently going downhill with each visit. The only redeeming quality is the amazing salad bar.

any trouble with the resort fee??
I know that a few people have had some trouble with still being charged the resort fee, even though its supposed to be comped along with the room.

What information do you need to redeem rewards at the Mlife booth? Do you need a printed copy of the email or is the code alone enough? I know they need my name, ID and Mlife number.

Question...Do you have to redeem at the property you have a reward (dinner/showtickets) for, or can you go to any Mlife property? I wold assume the property you are redeeming for but would like to know for sure. Thanks!

The property at which the reward will be used. So if it is a ticket for O, it must be redeemed at the Bellagio.

I was able to redeem the Shark Reef in December with just mlife number, ID, and the code (I had it on my phone, not printed out).

Thanks Lastkaii, the more I thought about it after I posted I figured that but wanted to make sure since there were people on here using the rewards.
