Hey Gang--

Whenever I go to Vegas, I end up spending about 95% of my time either playing blackjack or craps, so I've had my share of chips pass thru my hands. After several hours at the tables, you start to notice things...

I was wondering if any of you noticed the following:

LV Hilton has the ugliest chips

Luxor's chips seem a little cheap

Binions now has 3 different kinds of chips (the newest being the $5 chips with WSOP winners pics on them. Scary.) They're all 3 slightly different shapes and sizes.

The Plaza's chips, with the pictures of the "Grumpy Old Men"-- Don't those guys kinda look like the the theatre critics on the Muppet Show?

I'm not a chip collector (too expensive), but I really dig the artwork they have on some of them.

In all the years I've been going to Vegas I have never really looked at the chips even when I have been fortunate enough to have had them for awhile. Sure that I have played at the Plaza more than you (know you don't like the place)and yet I never noticed they had pix of men on them, grumpy or otherwise. I know some people collect them but it just never seemed important to me.

Not really Mikey, but the Bellagio chips are solid... MC chips, now that I think about it, were gross...

The Hard Rock chips are the coolest.. Nothing like seeing Hendrix when you are rolling...

Yeah Jer--

I gotta agree with you on that one... I don't much care for the HR, but their casino chips are probably the coolest. graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

I agree Steve... I think I am the only one in here besides you who have had positive things to say about the HR....

I'm jumping on board this one ...HR is definitely one of the coolest places to play, havent stayed there so can't really comment on the rooms..etc...but I always make a point of spending a good few hours at the HR tables when i'm in Vegas. Great dealers, fun crowd, I always have a good time there.... graemlins/beerchug.gif
