What are your favorite slot machines? We were in Vegas in May, and I found Jackpot Party. I loved it! I also liked Money to Burn and the one that features the Munsters.

I like the machines that are shaped like a big green table, and instead of little pictures, you get cards!! heeheehee graemlins/jester.gif

just kidding...not a slots fan, but I must admit that I've been building my VP skills, and plan to play when we go in a couple of weeks. Now if I can just figure out how to spot the full pay machines, or at least which ones have a really Low payoff!

jackpot party is my favorite!! i am addicted to that game. cant seem to get away from it. Even though it really makes me mad sometimes. why is it that when you get to the party, and you bet 45 credits, you ant seem to get anything but the pooper. makes me sooo mad! Still cant keep away from it though.

My favorite video slot is Jackpot Party, too. It's so much fun. Texas Tea is my second favorite, followed by Winning Bid. I played a Yukon Gold last visit at GN which somehow payed me over 6000 nickles. I didn't even know how it happened. I was happy to cash out confused.

Jackpot Party is great! Monopoly is kind of fun too. I was playing a Monopoly dime machine and since it was nine lines I was playing one coin per line and won 10,000 dimes. I didn't even realize I won anything because nothing seemed to match at first glance. Made me wish I put the full coin amount in but that would have been $9.00 per spin, which is a bit pricey. $1,000 was nice though so I really can't complain.

I played the new IGT "American Bandstand" in Atlantic City and I love it. I hope it's out in Vegas by November.

I had a blast with price is right last trip, I fell in love with Bea. I also liked press your luck-only found it at the IP though, I got a big kick out of it probably because I had few too many graemlins/beerchug.gif . I thought the family fued corner at MGM was neat, especially since they take you pic and put on the screen. Also like texas tea and double diamond 2000 I've good luck with the jewerly box's.

Can't wait to check out the new ones...only 2 weeks to go.

I can hear the sound of them already graemlins/ylinlove.gif

I can't sit next to those Wheel of Fortune machines--I've never liked the tv show and the soundtrack makes me cringe. It does scream VEGAS when I hear it though :D I found a new slot last time--Tic Tac Disco. The bonus round is a tic tac dough board and it plays disco music--very fun! I can dance in my seat :D

None of them lately. My friend had a free night at a casino (Rama) about 1 1/2 hours from here and took me as her guest. As the saying goes I couldn't win a free fart if they were giving them away. I did get some back from the quarter jackpot party & a diamond machine but nothing big. However my friend did really well on the quarter multi-line Winning Bid machines. They are her favourties now.

Sorry about your bad luck. But that's slots for ya....I never seem to have good luck with them, but our friends can play Red White & Blue 7s and win every time! (as a matter of fact, because he does so well on that slot and so poorly on others, it's the only type slot his wife lets him play ;) )

My favorites are the old time slots, Wild Cherry, Black Cherry, Double Diamond Deluxe. Anything that clicks up and down. I seem to do good on those.

My husband loves Winning Streak. He was addicted to that machine wherever we went in Vegas.

I'm not a big slot player anymore. My last trip taught me that! I do like a couple of the funny ones, like Fortune Cookie and one that has the stripping chickens. Really funny!

VegasinApril, my favorite slots are blazing 7's and double diamond. Have won my fair share in both, but also have paid my fair share but hasn't everyone who likes to play. In the video slots I really enjoy playing Jackpot Party along with the Double Diamond 2000. Lots of fun for hours.

Last time I played slots was at the Aladdin and I played the 5 cent slots where the jackpot is diamond jewelry. I am sure you have seen it. My girlfriend begged me to play it, she had a gold diamond ring picked out even! I was so excited to hit the gold jackpot that I didn't realize that I did not bet the max credits!!! I only won $20 in nickels!!! I will never play slots again!!! Too much aggrivation.

Coecat, I'll be thinking about this every time I work in ICU now!!! :D

I don't play slots too much, but I like Double Diamond, Wild Cherry, and Fourth of July. Also love 9-line nickel Triple Diamond machines. I don't like nickel video slots; too confusing!

When I was in Las Vegas April 2002 I never saw Jackpot Party. Is this quarter or nickel slots? What hotel were they at?

Does anyone know if they have them in Reno? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure Jackpot Party is nickel slots--at one time they had a large bank of them in the Rotunda at MGM and last summer my father-in-law was doing quite well on them. Sorry, don't know about Reno :(

Hi Big Dog Mom. I found your post interesting because I love the Triple Diamonds in quarters but have never seen the nickle machine on them. They must be so much fun. Could you tell me where they have them on the strip and where I could find them downtown? If I go next month, I ouuld love to try them. Also, would anyone know if they have inroduced the beverly Hillbillies slots anywhere in LV yet? Thanks, Michele

Michele, I'm not sure where to find those 9-line nickel machines in LV. I had only played them on my computer (it's on my Masque "Slots" game), then I saw them locally in Blackhawk a couple of weeks ago and had a little luck on one. I'm going to look for them this next trip to LV!
