Leaving for Vegas for the first time on Monday! Does anyone know where I can purchase 300-500 clay poker chips for home use? 8.5 to 11.5 grams.
Thanks in advance!

There is a gambling supply house on S. Main Street. Driving from the strip to Fremont St on S. Main it is on the left not far before you get to Downtown. In January they head a lot of slot machines on display out front. I am sure you will find other is the yellow pages also.
Good Luck, I hope you win big but most of all have a super time!

I believe the name of that place is Gamblers General Supply, and it is the BOMB!! I bought my chips there, and I Love them...they have a great selection, as well as Tons of cards from casinos, and cases to hold your chips. They have a web site, so search for it on Yahoo or something (I'd do it and put it in this post but the screening thing at work would prevent me from going there).

Highly recommend going there for chips.

I believe that they have a small shop at the airport on concourse D (American's concourse.) I checked out the shop while waiting on our departing flight and I recall seeing several sets of chips in carrying cases.

They had all kinds of neat gambling stuff in there, but they were a bit high on prices for things. A deck of cancelled playing cards were running 3/$10 (NYNY, Sahara, etc.) I got a set at the Sahara for less than a buck.

Mitch,

The name of the place in question is Gamblers General Store, on South Main Street. Their website is, oddly enough, gamblersgeneralstore.com .

They have everything you need, and the clay chips run about $.42 apiece. Kinda pricey, but you can get them semi-customized. You can go there in person, or order from their website. Great place. They've got everything you need.
