Does anyone know if it's worthwhile to join the Mirage Players Club if you're only a low stakes gambler (primarily $5 tables)? From what I understand, they just changed it so that it's a single card/account for both table games and slots. Heading to Vegas and staying at Mirage in three weeks.

Always always always join if you're going to play one nickel machine. If nothing else, it gets you on the mailing list for future discounted room offers. Like someone said elsewhere, getting on the list at Venetian's webpage guestbook got $59 rates last fall. AMAZING rates for that hotel.

I've gotten free room offers from Caesars or $59 for Palace Tower rooms for $20 in $0.25 video poker and tons of free room offers for $0.05 triple play VP play at Main Street Station downtown.

You won't get a lot of comps or attention on the strip for $5 a hand, but having some action on your account will keep you on the list.
