I know nothing about any type of poker and would like to learn about video poker. Is there a website that can teach me, or at least explain the rules? Thanks so much! http://www.travel2vegas.com/ubb/smile.gif

You could go to www.wagerworks.com (http://www.wagerworks.com) and learn how to play lots of video poker games along with other casino games. It also lets you gain points to use at various propertys for prizes! Angel

The absolute best way to learn video poker is to go to http://www.zamzone.com and download WinPoker. The shareware version will teach you 9/6 Jacks or Better poker. If you register it, you get all kinds of versions from double bonus to all american to deuces wild.

It will show you the perfect strategy, warn you if you've chosen the wrong strategy or test you. It will also keep track to show you how much your errors cost you over a specific period of play. I love it!

Sonya,
Thanks for the info. I checked it out... do you have to pay for it? Or is there a free version?
I've played Wagerworks, and that is what got me interested in VP, but I don't see any tutorial or set of rules on their site.

Please ignore my last post.... I got it straightened out! This VP game is quite intensive... I had no idea there was so much to it. I've gotten to the point where I don't get many warnings but I'm not winning a lot. I certainly don't think mathmatically as much I should though! http://www.travel2vegas.com/ubb/smile.gif

You've got to hit a Royal Flush to get really far ahead. Luckily the four of a kinds come often enough to keep me addicted. http://www.travel2vegas.com/ubb/smile.gif

Enjoy!
