Hubby and I want to see Mystere, but I have a few questions about the theater. We want to be on the floor, and from the seating chart, section 103 is the best area. Do we want to be near the stage, or should be be a few rows back? I was checking the TI website today, and for when we are going, they have front row seats available, so should I grab those? I don't want us to be craning our necks back the entire show either. Also, for seating, are the rows all on one level, or do they gradually incline so that the each row is a little higher than the one before it? I hope that made sense
I want to order the tickets ASAP so quick answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I liked the seats we had in section 203 first row AA. This show has so much going on you do not want to sit close to the stage or you will miss alot. Have fun. I liked it so much Id see it again.

I agree.. we sat in the 2nd section about halfway up. We could have been a little closer, but I'd pick the front of the 2nd section before the lower section. And sitting in the front has other.. uh.. challenges. There are a couple of seats in the front that end up participating in the show.
I still have nightmares about this poor woman at the show we attended. Ugh.. okay.. don't read if you don't want to know anything about the show. I'm serious.. stop reading now...
Okay so this woman was playing ball with that irritating baby thing. They were going back and forth and everyone was laughing and it was all in good fun. Then the baby goes to give her a hug and she says no, that's okay and stays in her seat. So the baby starts crying and having a fit.. she gets up and goes to give him a hug and he lifts her... lifting up her short dress in the process, showing all however many hundred people are in that theater a shot of her lovely grandma underpants.
You'll never get me in the front center section of that show... even if I'm wearing longjohns. :D

LOL Sonya!!! That certainly was quite a visual that you provided! haha!
Thanks for the replies on seating. How far back is the second section from the stage? Also, do the seats get one row higher, or are they all on the same level? Thanks again!

I'm telling you.. this was October 1995 and I still shudder when I walk past the Mystere theater remembering that poor woman. smile.gif

We sat in section 203. I'm pretty sure that we were in the middle of either JJ or KK. We looked out at the action suspended from the ceiling in front of us and down onto the stage. I would say that EE or FF would be perfect to see it all. If you wanted to be closer, the back 3 rows of 103 would probably be good.
I know that the 2nd section was two steps up per row like stadium seating. I know that the last few rows of the 100 section went down, but it might level off as you get closer to A, B and C.
There is a lot of action that happens above the 100 section from the ceiling on bungees and even higher. I would think that you'd miss a lot of it if you were down in the front 5-6 rows.
On the other hand, there are some gymnastic feats that are amazing close up. I saw a video of the two guys doing their balancing act and the closeups were even more amazing than seeing them from far away. You could see every muscle strain to hold the pose and the weight of the other guy. AMAZING!

I'm sure that wherever you sit you're going to love the show. It's really unlike anything else we've ever seen. We even went back a couple years later and bought the CD. Enjoy it!

when getting your tickets, can you actually pick which seats you want? when I was looking at reservations, I thought you had to take their best available seats..
