Wher is the Liberace Museum? And how do I get there? Is there a free shuttle from somewhere on the strip? What is the cost? Is it worth the trip? (I love the tackiness of Vegas).

We had a good time there, but we got in trouble by the old lady docent person. She didn't like our tom-foolery I guess. We were video taping in the museum and got busted. We were just mocking the pianos. :D

We actually enjoyed it.. once. Part of it got a little creepy and weird, but overall it was interesting and there aren't many places where you can go to see that many rhinestones.

Here's the museum website http://www.liberace.org/museum.html

It's about 2.5-3 miles down Tropicana. I don't know of a shuttle bus out there, but there's probably a CAT bus that will take you there. http://www.rtc.co.clark.nv.us/cat/cat.htm

First of all, there is either a 2 for 1 coupon or a coupon available for a discount on admission. I think they are in the Free magazines and also available from Billme.com.
To get to the museum you take the 201 bus east. Museum is on the right; just tell the bus driver you want to get off there. Bus is 2 tokens, or $1.25 or transfer from another bus for free (you need to get a transfer when you board). Board the bus at the stop in front of the Tropicana; buses run every 20 minutes.
I have never been there; just haven't run out of new things to do after 7 trips! If you go, let us know (and don't get silly near the pianos!)
