Ok guys I realize you would have all been in bed when I posted my q's so I have been a brave girl, bit the bullet and booked the Aladin.

Managed to get 449 for 4 nites and flight from UK so cant grumble and we are prepared for the worst. At least we have a good location and if we aint happy with rooms (worried they're gonna b too small) we can try for an upgrade to a resort room - any tips on how to do this wiv minimal
cost if any???

I would still really appreciate your comments tho even tho I have made a choice.

My last question (I promise) is weather - I saw a link somwhere on this site and can't find it now I need it. But am wondering what temps are gonna be like 7th - 11th March.

Thanks and look forward to hearing from someone.

Emma:
A bloody good day to ya! (Do you really say that?)Now that you are in the middle of your day, I'm starting mine and Sonya along with most of the west coasters are still in the sack recovering from being on the computer most of the night! So let me make a couple of comments with my limited expertise.
Here is a link to the weather highs and lows:

When it loads, just click on "Weather".

My first trip to LV was the first week of march and the afternoons were delightful---mid 60's almost 70 a couple of days and cool nights. Being from New Hampshire it seemed like summer to me. LV is in the desert, of course, so you may want to bring your hat or cap as the wind can be brisk and biting at times.

I have never stayed at the Alladin but haven't heard much except praise. I'll leave the details to those who have stayed there and am sure will reply. You price seems very good considering the distance, the location, and the time of year. Hope I have helped a bit! Enjoy your stay, and visit to the states.

And no I can honestly say we don't say; "Bloody good day to ya" over here. Although come to think of it, posh people prob do!

But "alright mate?" will suffice for me smile.gif

Thanks again xXx

I stayed at the Aladdin last March and I liked the place. Our rooms were good sized and the bathrooms were really big. I didn't have any problems with service in any area of the hotel. I don't know if things have gotten bad since their financial problems but I can just say that my experience there was a good one.

You'll be fine there, Emma. You can ask for an upgrade at checkin. You might get one just for asking. I stayed in a regular room and thought it was wonderful.

The room isn't as huge as it could be because of the way it's laid out. When you enter the room you walk down a hallway that has the door to the bathroom. Past that is an armoire with the TV in it, a table & big chair, a bed, a desk/table with high speed internet. The bathroom is huge though with an amazing soaking tub. I got in there and didn't want to get out. smile.gif They give you some great bath gel from the Bath & Body Works or one of those chain bath stuff stores that has a nice spicy smell. It was really relaxing. smile.gif

I thought it was the best room I had ever stayed in. I think they upgraded us . We had a huge bathroom with a huge tub and a tv right above the tub, and our view from our tub was the bellagio water thingy.! We stayed in our tub watching football for about 4 hours .It was great!
I think you will luv it.
