We're arriving on a Sat until Tues. at TI. Has anyone had luck with a complimentary strip-view upgrade. Is there a specific location/floor that I should ask for or avoid? Thanks!

I've had good luck with a Strip view by just asking for it (especially the first time I ever stayed there). I don't think there are any floors to avoid, but you should be aware that a "lagoon" view would also be a Strip view but has a LOT of Sirens show noise intermittently until about midnight. If that's an issue, try asking for a South Strip view. They might even consider it a pool view - it's much quieter.

We were there this past July and our room was a south strip view on the 25th floor right next to the elevator in the center of the hotel, and loved the view. Did the $20 trick at check in but had to wait till the next day for a panoramic view room (south view) on the 27th floor. We didn’t like it as much as our original room. All the panoramic view was another small window facing the construction at the Venetian and the other view wasn’t as good. Also, with all the walking we do, being near the elevator was a big plus for me. We were glad to go back to our original room on the 25th floor because of several problems we found.

Just got back from a week in Vegas including a Sat/Sun stay at TI. Asked for a high room (did not care if it was strip or not). Was given a very nice view room on the 31st floor (room key needed with elevators going to 30-36th floor} strip view above the Siren show. Very little noise at that high. Nice view and great having a quick elevator to our floor.
