MGM grand has a deal for one of the nights were are going and then there is another offer that would give us a good deal for the other 3 nights..is this possible? So essentially I would have two seperate reservations.

Yes, I've done this at GN where they had a midweek suite offer, then a regular room for Fri/Sat nights. When I arrived, they combined my 2 separate reservations into a single entry in the computer.

Back-to-back not allowed at Harrahs from my experience. Try, but don't bet on it.

More to the point, most MGM promotions have language against combining offers with the implication that applies to a single stay.

You might be taking a chance of the promotion not being honored when you arrive, but on the other hand they might not even notice it. (Especially if you check out and check back in.)

Since you mentioned "we" perhaps you could book the two promos under different names.

From what I was told at Harrah's if you are basically receiving something of value from the one promo - slot tourney, cash, DVD player, etc. you cannot connect it with another one of value. However, you can connect one of those 2/3 nite offers with standard comped rooms. I had 5 comped nights booked at Paris. When Flamingo offered 2 nights & $100 cash I was (thru an error in system) actually able to book that also - but I did call and cancel the first 2 nights at Paris -and she said it probably would have cropped up and been caught at some point. Figured they would cancel the one giving me the money & just leave my 5 nights at Paris so thought it more prudent to fix it myself first. At Harrah's you can still overlap Bills with any of their properties as everything is still booked separately at Bill's.

i thought i read on one of my offers from MGM-Mirage that you must have 5 days between using offers from them.

we have done it many times at all types of hotel chains in vegas. one reservation would be under my name and the other would be under the hubby's name.
We would not mention it upon check in, and then the day of check out .. from the 1st one we would goto the front desk and who ever the second reso was under would go and check in and request the same room we were in so we wouldn't have to move.. when the desk says its not clean yet.. we would merely say thats because my wife is already here.. in that room. you kind of have to do this simultaniously.
it works every time.

We just did that at Paris. We were only allowed to book 2 of our nights at the promo rate of $47--Mon and Tues of our stay. While I was on the phone with that woman, I went on Total Rewards and we had an offer for $47 on Sunday night when we were arriving. She actually waited while I booked Sunday, then she booked Monday and Tuesday, and linked the two separate reservations. She was extremely cooperative and said I should try to get the best deal possible. The trip was last week, and there was no problem with the reservations or them honoring it.

I've never booked multiple offers at the same hotel but I've booked multiple hotels with offers for the same dates.......and then crashed in the room I happened to be closest to at the end of the evening.
