book mark is taking me to a top up tv web site had to use history to get to message board, bug in my pc or others having a problem? nickm

My bookmark has been working fine today. Did you try re-bookmarking once you got to the messageboard and overwriting whatever is in your favorites?

Every time I went to home page from button on message board would send me to top up tv even when typing directly into explorer address bar

it would take me there, and still does
so went to Netscape browser found the t2v home page copied address into explorer address bar then over wrote bookmark now all ok

nickm, sounds a little like some ad software has hijacked your Internet Explorer browser. I would suggest you find a program called "AdAware" and run it on your pc.

First I've heard of that particular problem. Is it still happening after you ran adaware?

I'm getting lots of weird emails with myself or the board as the sender lately. I don't think I've ticked off anyone lately who would want to hijack me, but I'll look at my logs to see if I can spot any funny business. smile.gif

OK it was my pc I feel slightly violated. and or stupid adaware did not fix it so to fix it I went
in explorer, tools, Internet Options, General, then under Temporary Internet Files selected Delete Cookies then Delete Files
of course I lost my passwords so be aware if u have to do this
all is now back to normal thanks for all the help nickm
