Wife and I will be in Vegas at the end of the month and had originally planned to spend a day horseback riding at Sagebrush Ranch. We booked through Looktours website and that turned into a big mistake. Not with Looktours but with Sagebrush Ranch. They charged my credit card wich is a debit card on my checking acct. and was not supposed to be charged until the day of the tour. Because of this mistake my checking acct. was overdrawn for a few days. To make a long story short it took forever for Sagebrush to reinburse our acct., so we cancelled the tour. Looktours felt bad for the situation and offered me a discount on any of their other tours. With the wife's ok I took Looktours up on their offer and got $30 bucks off on their sky diving package. My wife will not do it but they will let her go along and wait on the ground. I am looking forward to this and welcome any tips or suggestions that yoy may have for this is my first time to jump. Of course this will be a tandem jump but I still do not know what to expect. Thanks in advance for any and all posts.

Okay :D

1 - Don't forget to pull the ripcord
2 - Don't jump on a full stomach
3 - Be sure you have a full psychological profile on the guy strapped to your back.
4 - Update your insurance

Kidding! You'd NEVER get me to jump out of a perfectly good plane.. you can hardly get me ON to a perfectly good plane. smile.gif But I hope you have a great time. I have some friends who did it (not in Vegas, but whatever) and they said it's really fun and not so scary after you do the initial jumping part.

You've got to come back here and let us know how it was. Not too many people do it so I'd love to hear from someone who does.

See if they will let you jump with a camera. You will have to keep it well secured until after you're under the chute. It makes a neat picture with your feet dangling 2'000 feet off the ground.

Pee before you go!

I will defintely take all of your advice, esp. not eating before I go and peeing prior to jumping. Good idea, Dane, About the camera. I have not yet decided if I want to pay the extra $100 to have them video tape my first jump, but I wonder if they will let me take my video camera. As nervous as I will be I don't know if I should chance forgetting to turn it on or dropping it thousands of feet above the earth. May be a liability issue by bringing a camera though. I'll check. Thanks again.

Oh yea, Jimbo, do you think they'll let me jump with my hat on? hahahahaha!
