Digital Camera Thru Security

Hi, just bought a new Sony Digital Camera that takes a floppy instead of a memory stick. My question is how does going through the X-Ray machine at the security lane in the airport affect the floppies. Will it erase the pictures I have already taken; will it damage the blank floppies any way? Can you take it on your person through the screening? Any and all answers welcome. Love Las Vegas. T-27.

Going through the x-ray machine will not affect your floppies in any way. If you want you can have them hand check it, but putting it though the machine won't hurt it at all. The same is true for 35mm film.

Thanks Tracy144. I was worried that after taking time to take many pictures in Vegas that they might be lost going through security.
