Winter in Las Vegas

Hello all,

My father is interested in wintering in Las Vegas, probably for the months of January and February. My sister and I would love to have him, but in our tiny 2 bedroom apartment, we would probably all kill each other after the second week :-)

Does anyone know of any furnished apartments that offer month-to-month leases? He is interested in staying in the Summerlin/Lakes area since that is where my sister and I live and he also has friends in Summerlin.

If not Summerlin, any where else that is decent? He does not want any skeevie areas.

Can't recommend anything personally. You may want to search for vacation rentals on Craigslist, vrbo.com (http://www.vrbo.com/), or lasvegassnowbird.com (http://www.lasvegassnowbird.com/). It may be worth contacting a Real Estate Agent. I know of one in Laughlin that specializes in rentals for snowbirds, but not in LV unfortunately.

I was referred to these folks last year for a potential short-term need that I had. I talked with them once but ended up just shuttling back and forth to Vegas.
