Hey there! Brand new (obviously) to the community and I'm planning my first/spurr-of-the-moment vacation for the first week in September. I'm a hardcore vacation planner (you should see my Disney World planning :blink:) and don't have much time to figure everything! Time to start saturating my brain in everything Vegas!!!!

I've also been trying to get my hands on the Unofficial Guide to Vegas but I can't find it anywhere because the 2008 edition is supposed to come out soon and no one is carrying the 2007 one. :confused2:

I'm hoping that the 2008 one comes out next week cuz we leave on Sept 3 and I need to figure out what we're doing and where we're going.

I'm so used to having everything scheduled for WDW but I have no clue what I'm getting into with Vegas. Neither my wife or myself gamble or drink (Mrs. Engg is actually LDS/Mormon :eek:) but we both really want to see what Vegas is all about!!! We're definitely going to take in a Cirque show and I'm stuck on which one to see. I was originally thinking 'O' but it looks pretty well sold out; Ka looks good though. Other than that we have no idea what shows we're going to see, where we're going to eat or what other awesome tourist sites there are.

I'm trying to bounce all around the board looking for tips 'n tricks!
