Hi everyone...

I've been lurking for a little while.

My name is Andy, I'm from Massachusetts and I just planned a quick trip to Vegas in September. We'll be staying at THEHotel, and it'll be my girlfriends first time to Vegas.

Should be a great time.

Thanks to all for the great info on this message board! I already took advantage of the $50 ticket deal for cirque :)

THEhotel is my favorite hotel in vegas right now. I love that it's at MB, but just a bit off from the casino. A very nice place. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay! What a great place for a first trip!

My first trip was to visit a friend, and I stayed in her parents guest house. That was pretty cool. They also paid for everything...

The last time I went, we stayed at the Venetian. It was really nice, the bathroom was crazy... LOL Actually I was taking someone for their first trip then as well. She went to one of those giant endcap slots and put in $20.
I always thought those weren't really good machines to play but she wasn't about to listen to me...

2nd pull, $300....

Paid for the rest of her trip. :thumbsup:

Hey Andy, welcome aboard. Where abouts in the Bay State are you? I lived in The Fens, Brookline, Allston, Brighton, The Fens again, Quincy, Brockton, Charlestown and Winthrop before moving to San Diego. Then I ended up here.

Sh*t, that's a lotta moving in 30 years.... Anyway, good to have you.

I am another MA resident that lives in Quincy, goes to vegas twice a year, stay @ Bally's (Paris won't give me free nights) and visit a woman that is a resident of Vegas that tries to make a living selling real estate. Can't wait until there is a Dunkin Donuts in vegas. I think one is arriving before the end of this year. Can't stand the KK or Starbucks coffee.

Your trip sounds like it's gonna be awesome! Make sure and write up a trip report, we can't get enough of them. I took advantage of the $50 cirque tickets last week and saw KA. That is one of the best deals I've been able to use in a long time...worth every penny and then some!

So, you were born at Beth Isreal then ?
I was a guest there, for about a month and a half once :)

I'm going to maine this weekend.

You are right on the money, with Beth Israel, kinda of funny though being that I am Irish Catholic.
My Mother in law lived nearby St albans for awhile in Solon on Rt 201.
