room indecision!

my wife and I are doing july5 to 12 th.
originally booked at flamingo for $75 weekdays and $110 weekend.
we are from canada and exchange brings price up 30 percent.
we changed to imperial palace for $44.00 and $69.00
how does the choice sound?
we will save $300 us approximately to spend on fun instead.

I would vote for staying at IP and saving the $300. They are right next door to each other so you are not giving up anything on location. Also, as this board will agree...the drink service at IP are much better than most places.

Visit the Flamingo, but stay at IP!

Just recently stayed at the Flamingo and it was very nice, but for the $300, I'd stay at the IP too. How much time are you really gonna spend in your room?

(Guess I should state that I was attending a conference, so work was paying for the Flamingo, not me!)

have stayed and played at both-------as prior poster stated ,they are next to each other-----would rate the flamingo a notch higher as to rooms but if it were me,i would save the $300 and go with the ip------

Your budget will answer your question. If the 300 dollars doubles your play money then IP for sure. If the 300 brings your play money from 2000 to 2300, then spend a little extra on the room - it will enhance your stay.
