Best Video Poker Bartenders

Well June is officially here so I can start to obsess about Bosco and my trip on the 18th of this month. We need to get some input on the best video poker bartenders on the strip. We all know that there are huge differences in bartenders even within the same property.

Here is the criteria:Social skills, great conversation with laugh skills. Fast service, the only reason to tolerate the bad pay tables at the bartop machines is readily available booze. And finally Mixology, can he make me a drink that will send me on my way with a smile on my face and a pain in my liver?

In the past we have met Montel at the bar by the Party Pit in Harrah's. There was Little John at Bushwaker's in TI who started us down the road to our best Vegas day ever. I could never for get Mike at the Boardwalk Bar. You get the idea. We call have a special memory of someone who made us feel like we were high rollers even when we were just playing max bet on a quarter machine.

We are planning on starting at the south end of the strip and heading north searching out every name we are given.

The only bartender who's name I have actually retained is Josie at Fontana Bar. She's a peach. I hope if the rumor about Fontana closing is true that she has a job somewhere else lined up.

There are a few (too many) who I recognize by sight, and they recognize me too, at Isla at TI, at Centrifuge at MGM Grand... and more than a few off-Strip and Downtown places.

When and which bar at the Fontana does Josie work? I will have to meet her! I really like Diane at the Fontana during the day and Shawn at night is fantastic.............Dean sometimes fill in there but also works the Allegra bar and is awesome.

She works on the outside section of Fontana, where the vp machines are, almost always on the side closest to Caesars (away from the Bellagio lobby). I've always seen here there in the afternoon.

Thanks for the heads up on Fontana. Believe it or not I have never sat and played there. The bar closest to Ceasars is one of my all time favorite freak spoting bars. There are regular padded chairs that allow you to look out into the pit while playing.

although i dont remember any of there names (too much alcohol) i always enjoyed the bartop poker at IP at the top of the escalator. my g/f drinks all those goofy drinks, i stick to dewars and ginger ale but she seemed to like her drinks just fine. i have cashed out more then one there too.
