Going to Red Rock's casino for the day. Looking to see far it is from the strip and how much the cab ride would be.

We had a rental car and drove there for a visit - LONG LONG LONG trip - at least 20 minutes off strip, could be an expensive cab ride. I would recommend just renting a car for the day from your hotel, at roughly $25 its probably a cheaper option. Sorry I can't tell you how to get there but from what I recall you just keep on going down this one road forever, so navigation wise not too difficult.

Red Rock Casino is roughly 13 miles from center strip. Not sure what taxi fare would run, but I'd guess it'd be at least $30 each way. Depending on the route and traffic it's a 20-30 minute drive.
I suggest avoiding the Charleston route, instead I recommend heading west on Flamingo Rd. Take 215 north to the Charleston exit. Red Rock is on the right.

My fare OUT was fourtyfour bucks. We took I-15 to 215, then out.
I had a friend bring me back. I really liked RED ROCK, wish it wasn't
so damn far away...I could become a regular there.

This is the route we took last summer from Paris. It was fairly quick and pretty direct.
Like Greg said I could become a regular there pretty easily. It is a nice place.

It's a Very nice Casino , but a long way from the Strip.
The Rental car for the day is probably the best route to go.
If you do get a car make sure to visit Red Rock Park.
It's just down the road a bit past the Casino and is really different to see . It makes a nice break from gambling.
It's very peaceful and quiet , a million miles away if you want it to be :)
