New Features (toys?)

The wonderful and amazing Sh0ck has helped me add some new toys to the board. Some of you may have noticed them already, but here's what we've added:

You can now add a countdown timer from your userCP. Just click on "UserCP" on the left side of the nav bar just above the board. That will take you to your user control panel. The second choice in the column on the left is "Create Countdown Timer". Select that and follow the instructions. If you need help, or want to test to see if you got it right, see this thread (http://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18816).

We've added a "Support the Board" paypal button just under the area where the private message notification is on the right side of the board, just above the green nav bar. Clicking that button will open up a window at PayPal where you can send a donation to support the operations and improvements at VegasMessageBoard. You can also send a check to my PO Box if you'd prefer. Just send me a PM and I'll give you the address.

We've added some buttons across the top of the board. Clicking on them will add a section to your My Yahoo, Google Home, NewsGator, or MyMSN pages. If you're only interested in a specific section, you can add that by clicking the button from within that forum. There is also an RSS feed if you wish to add it on one of your own personal pages. Shout if you need some assistance with that and I'm sure a few of us can help you.

We've also added a feature that will turn certain keywords into red links. If you click on those links (for places like Expedia, Orbitz, Priceline, etc) and make your reservations, you'll be supporting the board as I get a small commission from everything booked through those links. It all pours back into the quality and features on the board, so if you plan on booking through them anyway, I'd appreciate the link.

I'm always looking for new and fun things to add to the board. If you have a suggestion, please don't hesitate to send me an email using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page or send me a Private Message by clicking on my name at the top of this message and selecting "Send a private message to Sonya". Got a favorite emoticon? Surf at another vBulletin board and would like to see a feature there incorportated in this board? Just let us know!

Damn. wish i woulda seen this. just booked with Enterprise. anyway to redo my reservations through your link somehow and/or give you credit?

ill try cancelling and redoing it tonight, im more than happy to help out these boards in any way i can. all i reserved with was my name their was no credit card or anything. :)
