Well I know it's early, but the White Sox are steamrolling just like the playoffs and series last year. They have been winning close ones again too. If they can stay injury free I can't see anyone beating them in the AL. The sweep of the Angels put me in DonD's pocket again.:evillaugh

Yeah, this weekend we returned to the scene of our victory. We caught Saturday and Sunday's games in Anaheim. Had a blast! Loved, loved, loved seeing our World Series Champion Chicago White Sox. Made it even sweeter to watch them sweep the Angels, especially after being at the last game of Angels' season when we clinched the ALCS.
Let's go W-H-I-T-E S-O-X!!!
The sweep of the Angels put me in DonD's pocket again.
Yes it did and it doesn't even feel good.:grrr:

I figured I might get you to surface on this thread Ron. First thing your Tribe needs is some more arms. And speaking of smack, I'm just about recovered from laying the smack down from LAST SEPTEMBER!!!!!:kill: Kellee and I just had too much ammo with that Cleveland EL Grande Choko Foldo! Hmm... sounds like a bad burrito! Maybe Chief Wahoo is really a Mexican instead of an Indian?Maybe he can pitch.

We did choke - can't deny that. We will never forget what Ozzie did in OUR house...

That's totally without class. Almost as bad as beating up a 55 year old first base coach. :poke:
Yep, we choked but that was then...

I love that picture. We almost choked last night, but then tall & fat struck out the side.

Marty: "That was close last nite. I propose a wager on todays game. For one week, the avatars. I'll put up Chief Wahoo, you put up Kellee's Sox logo. Bet?"
Ron: "I never turn down a friendly wager. You got a bet Sox boy."
Final Score: Tribe 7 - White Sox 1 :woot:
Another Wahoo on the board!! :kill:

god bless you for rooting for your team, but the indians, red sox and i would go so far as to say the yanks are better.....dont worry they are not gonna play .500 baseball all year. the sox almost blew a huge division lead at the all star break to the indians, and had the white sox buehrle not thrown at our clean up hitters head and knocked him out for over a month when the tribe was on fire, they would have blown it. i hate the sox, i think ozzie guillen has about as much class as TO and i dont think they have a chance in hell at repeating. call me a homer, i still think cleveland is the team to beat in the AL central, and so do a lot of other people.

See, I thought we lost today because Buerle didn't bring it or that the Sox have been on the road for a while... But now I know the real reason... that damn Wahoo. We can beat Cleveland, no problem, but when the Wahoo's on the line it makes the Indians invincible. Keep wagering the Wahoo and the Tribe might actually have a shot.

If if's and buts were candy and nuts we'd all have a Merry Christmas.

When asked about Thome leaving Clevelend, he answered:
"People say he took the money," Guillen said. "I would, too. That's my job. I hear guys say they want to win. I gotta go to the club that pays me the best. You're not going to feed your kids with championship rings."
:bang:
Sorry Ozzie, but if you can't feed your kids with 50 million, something is very wrong. My kids eat and I'm not getting paid millions to play baseball. Nice to know you're only in it for the money though. :rolleyes2:

Ozzie put in a right handed batting order today against C.C. In doing this he managed to get Jermaine Dye injured. He left the game in the top of the 3rd with a sore left calf. So now Mackowiak a lefty comes in.
Widger comes out in the 6th with a head injury and Pierzynski has to come in.
How can you leave Thome out of the lineup?
He basically had a spring training lineup in today.
I hope this loss comes back to bite Ozzie in the arse.
Go Tribe!!

I experienced the joy of flying my MN Twins home from Detroit last weekend after that horrible spanking. I do have to say it was he most fun I've had since I took on this Flight Attendant Job.. and the team was very nice and friendly after a very bad April. I'm still rooting for them and hope for a recovery in May.

Hey Cece,
How's the new job? We missed ya at MM#3. I thought I heard you were in town but had to fly out again right away.
Mays used to kill us but know we own him!
Take care,

Hey Marty,
Sorry for the delay.. didn't sign in for a while. I'm layed off for the summer.. which actually is not a bad thing. I get paid to stay home (first time I've ever been on unemployment). How about that series.. last weekend? I was looking for the sweep and then the train wreck sunday night happened. Nice Triple Play you guys made.. we are morons.. DUMB BUNT.
I'm heading to Vegas Wednesday night... Yes I was in and out March 17th.. got to take a lot of fun people out to my favorite city.. and then bring another bunch back. Fun night to fly...people were in a great mood.
Hopefully our teams will meet up in October... our pitching is starting to come around.. and our hitting is actually happening. Did you happen to see the Tori Hunter catch a week ago.. AMAZING!

Cece,
Yea I saw Hunter's catch. After the first 2 games, I was glad to get the split.
Have a nice summer off watching the Twins and have a good time in Vegas. Say hi to my money.
