This saturday NFL GMs get to unwrap their gifts.

A few years ago I was visiting a buddy in Chicago and we hung out at ESPN zone for a few hours watching the draft. Now-Bengals guard Eric Steinbach was having his draft party in the back, got picked somewhere 'round the top of the 2nd round I think. Been a draft day junkie ever since, though I'm probably just hanging 'round the house this year.

Anybody else got plans? What's on your wishlist?

my wish list has montana state quarterback travis lulay getting picked about the 8th round by the green bay packers, and after he makes the team, having the privelege of tough old brett favre teach him for a year or two. this kid and green bay would be a fit.

Since alot of teams didn't want him he should be yours.

Two problems: I'm not finding that name at nfl.com, and it's a 7 round draft. ;)

apparently even santa claus isnt that good.

in my quick scan of the draft, thanks doc al, i found only one player, a web er state lineman, that was drafted from the big sky conference. know there are some sleepers there, some will make it via the free agent route, others, like lulay, may wind up in the cfl before the afl or europe.
