Hotel April 3rd?

My wife and I originally scheduled a trip to Vegas Sunday April 4th - 8th. We are staying at MAn Bay. When we booked our Freq. Flyer miles had to have a saturday flight. We didn't want to spend 250-300 a night for MB on that night so we are booked at Comfort Inn across from the Hard Rock. It is only one night and we won't be getting in until 8-9PM anyway. Is this place a total dive. IF so, any other suggestions without breaking the 120-130 mark for a Saturday Night in Vegas?

You might be a little out of luck. That is final four basketball weekend, a pretty big weekend. I noticed that April 1,2,2 -Thurs, Fri., Sat. the horrible Garden Rooms at the Tropicana are going for $249 a night!
