That is what we used to bet, in hight school.
But a serious question. I just bought some new rubber for the vehicle. My old tires said max PSI was 32 LBS. The sticker on the door panel said 30 LBS and I strived for 30. My new skins say max 44 LBS. The manual says use the door sticker. What pressure should I run.

I was a mechanic in the ARMY and one for a few years after. I always go by the sticker on the inside of the door panel. The vehicle makers are better at determining the ap for the average weight of the vehicle your driving. The tire makers put that ap on your tire because that is more of an estimate. You will probably notice that in most cases the ap reccomendations will not differ by much.

I found and signed-up at cartalk.com ...a fine site. I got 10 replys to this inquiry. This looks like a fun and informative website.

THe tire pressure marked on a tire is the max pressure or rated pressure at full load. Example 35 PSI at 1350lbs..
The pressure stated on the door is what you should go by. If you go with a slighty wider you can usually drop it a bit and test run to see if it feels good.
Within a few lbs of the sticker pressure covers 95% of peoples driving habits out there.
Good Luck
