It looks like the transition is underway. I am a long time slot club member of both companies. This past July my wife and I played for a few hours after dinner in Paris using our Caesars cards.

Yesterday in the mail we each got an offer for free rooms at Paris (3 nights each month) in November and December. That in itself is not news, but the letterhead used was patterned after the standard Harrahs letterhead and the person signing the letter was a familiar name I think is/was from the Rio.

Just thought I'd pass it along.

Not all things are yet merged. I was unable, on Sept. 23rd, to use the points on my Harrahs card to eat at the Paris buffet. I had to use the available points on my Caesars Connection card.

However, if you go to Caesars.com, the web will take you there, but it's a Harrahs site now.

I got the same offer, the person signing was president of Paris/Ballys/Rio which then made me realize that Harrahs was in charge. I did try to see what was available the days next month we will be there -- Paris was S/O but rooms were available at Ballys on those dates. Good prices on the weekend ('call for rates') days - $159 and $59 on Thursday but not quite as good at what I had booked at Aladdin a few months ago.

First time I have gotten a free room offer in Vegas -- definitely not high roller when we were there in April. Most be Harrahs attempt to keep Caesars clientele.

I sure hate to see the merger, not a fan of Harrahs.
