Laundromats

For those of you living in Vegas - we might be visiting in December, staying on the strip. We need to know where a laundromat is that is clean and in a safe area since we may stay for several nights. We'll have a car, so it doesn't have to be right off the strip - just a fairly reasonable driving distance. I've looked at the yellow pages online to find laundromats, but don't know the area well. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm sure there's quite a few laundromats around, but off the top of my head, there is one on Flamingo at Lindell (about 2 miles west of the strip). It's on the South side of the street near the terrible's convenience store. When I go by it again, I'll keep an eye out for the name of it and I'll confirm the location.

Edited to add: It is at Flamingo/Lindell and it is Terrible's Laundromat. The Convenience store is adjoined.

You can always check the yellow pages in your hotel room (once you arrive) or check the yellow pages on Yahoo because they'll map it for you as well....Oops, reading more carefully, you've already done that.....

The first post I made to this forum was asking the same question. :)

We used the Yellow Pages to find a place in a lot next to the Hard Rock Hotel. A quick look on Google Maps shows this to be E. Harmon and Paradise.

We got good service there, and hopefully it is still under the same ownership.
