San Remo or Sahara

Even though I wanted to try downtown when returning to Las Vegas in April with my daughter, I think staying on the strip will be more convenient since most of what I will show her is there. Cheapest rooms seem to be the Sahara (39 plus 3 Energy Ripoff)=$42.00(online) and San Remo ($45.00) Expedia. I know Remo is better located but as far as room quality goes, has anyone stayed at both and can vouch for one being better than the other? Thanks!

Rooms are a little larger at San Remo.

I have actually stayed at both places. I have no complaints about either and would stay at both places again. Like Sonya said, the rooms at San Remo are a little bigger and you can't beat the location. If the price is the same, go for San Remo.
