Hello all, I'm new here so please be patient. I really enjoy the stories I've been reading about the trip reports, thank you all for them. What are you locals favorite places to eat, I'm sure you know what's best. Mid-price range or so. I've checked some of the other threads and made notes, also checked all the travel sites.

Thanks

Favorites seem to be ever-changing. Many of our favorite finds have become a thing of the past...no longer offered, increased prices, or downgraded quality.

Not sure if you were looking for strip offerings or if your open to anywhere in town.

With that said, I'll run down a quick list of our regular eats and places we hit when visitors come to town...

Jersey Mikes (multiple locations) Subs and Philly Cheesesteak
Kilroy's (Grand Canyon S of Flamingo or Charleston at Buffalo) Hamburgers

Tacos Mexico (multiple locations)
In-N-out
Putter's Bar & Grill (multiple locations)

Thanks to you Vegasbound and Hurricane Mikey,

I'll try at least 50% of your favorites in September, 67 days to go!

I really enjoy reading everyones stories it seems to make the waiting time go by.

We will have some newbies with us this year so I thought I'd get some advice from you pros!

Thanks a million, and hope you win one too!

My two favorites are Nikki Lee's, a sportsbar on Sunset, and Mi Coco, a little hole in the wall Michoacan place at Pecos and Tropicana. muy bueno.

I've heard a couple of people say they like Nikki Lee's on Sunset...it's really close to my house, so I think I'm gonna have to give it a try next week.

Howzie, Any idea if Bonito Michoacan on Decatur has the same owners/food? I noticed the restaurant a couple weeks ago and it looked like a place worth trying.

From what I've heard, the owners of Bonito are the owners of Viva Michoacan. I think Mi Coco is just a little freestanding place.
