For future reference click here (http://www.lvmpd.com/crimeviewcommunity/wizard.asp) for the LVMPD CrimeView. You can search using exact locations or cross streets. It's a very useful tool, when researching areas to live.

VB what is your personal opinion of those neighborhoods?

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with either of the neighborhoods. I know the west side much better. However, based on the little I do know of the areas, I think Coral Gardens would be the better of the two.

Then can you tell me what is a decent apartment complex on the west side? Maybe a couple so I can research them for my nephew.

Not sure what price range he can afford...

Here are some west side zipcodes to search 89146, 89117, 89135, 89147, 89148, 89113, 89118, 89128, 89129, 89134, 89149, 89130.

All the apartments near me have recently been converted to condos. He may want to look into renting a condo. Rent is comparable to apartments.

Thank VB. I will search and see what I can find then pass on the information.

BTW, he is looking for something in a 2 bedroom (# of baths is not important as long as there is one) and trying to find something in the price range of $600-$700 a month.
