I haven't come across any locals only food deals. NV Residents do get discounts for many of the attractions on the strip. Occasionally, special offers for shows will be given. For example, we took advantage of a promotion for Mystere - free dinner at Dishes and VIP viewing of Sirens.

In my experience, I've had to show my license to redeem special offers.

Additionally, casino employees are offered a lot of perks. To name a few: Neonopolis discounts movies. Ellis Island gives free drinks. Autoshops give free oil changes. Plus, you can get other freebies and offers from the casino you're employed by.

While you don't have to be a local to take advantage of this deal, you are going to have to go to a local's casino.

I have enjoyed the prime rib special at Fuego's at Fiesta Henderson numerous times. It's a very nice restaurant with plush booths and subdued lighting. We'll bring friends/relatives there and they've always enjoyed it.

It's only available Sunday through Thursday and the cost is 11.99. It includes your choice of soup or salad, prime rib with vegetables, and choice of potato. If two people get the special, for an additional 3.00PP, you get an appetizer and dessert.

When I drove by this week, I saw they were offering the special for 10.99 between 5 and 6 o'clock.

Like Kellee said, there are a lot of perks available for casino employees around town, I've seen. The latest one I've seen is 50% off your tab for you and three guests at any strip location of Nathans, just showing your casino ID. Not too shabby. Also, free drinks on graveyard for casino employees at Ellis Island, as was also mentioned. Of course, after 16 hours of dealing, the last thing I want to do is sit around with a bunch of other sad sacks and listen to 'em complain about the stiffs at their tables and inhale their chainsmoking...

One thing I've noticed is that dealers love to bitch...

I'm not bitter and jaded just yet...

Not that I live there, but I could have swore I'd heard that Rio offers a locals discount on their Carnival World Buffet. I'm thinking like $5 off or something like that.

It may be just a rumour, via the Brass Pole, but 50% off lap dances for locals...... graemlins/ssst.gif graemlins/hehehmn.gif

Today, I learned Planet Hollywood gives NV Residents 20% off their meal.

Locals get bounceback mail from Stations, Fiesta and the Palms that out-of-towners don't get.
