So, going with the "Living in Sin" title, does Nevada have an anti-cohabitation law?? They're currently trying to overturn the century-old anti-cohabitation law here in NC, which is why I thought of that.....

All are welcome to 'Live in Sin' in Sin City.

In other words, Nevada does not have an anti-cohabitation law. The law only remains in seven states: Florida, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Virginia and West Virginia.

My SO and I are considering visiting for 3 months (max allowed without a visa from the UK)

Can you Vegas Locals give us some help with long (ish) rentals. We would also like advice on the area to look for. We were considering something around Flamingo/ Maryland Parkway, but any advice would be great.

BTW my SO is 70 (i'm 45) so anything in the senior category would be OK. He is a bit of a gym bunny in that he works out EVERY DAY!!!

Many apartment complexes have exercise rooms on site. When looking you'll likely want to search apts that offer that amenity.

In my experience, not many complexes offer 3 month leases. That too, will help narrow down the selection.

Mikey might have some info on the area on Flamingo/Maryland Pkwy. I've driven by there hundreds of times it appears decent.

Thanks Vegasbound, I will do a search with that in mind.

Yikes, we are on the no-cohab list. That means that the Baboo and I have been breaking that law for over 20 years. graemlins/nono.gif

It was one of those laws that no one paid much attention to recently, until a woman said she was fired from her job (at the police dept) because she was living with her boyfriend--a deputy, I think. OK, it sucks that she was fired and not him, and I think it's a really stupid law (which I was breaking for 10 months before I got married graemlins/blink.gif ) but, I think I have to support the sheriff for not wanting his staff to be knowingly breaking the law....In that case, though, both lawbreakers should have lost their jobs....
