AC anyone?

If we're thinking about a cruise, I guess we don't have to limit our Get Together options to Vegas... so anyone for a get together in Atlantic City? Summer there is fun so maybe a weekend in July or August? I'm already there about once a month or so anyway.

Works for me as well. I can always make it a combined visiting the family/gambling trip. As long as the dates don't interfere with any of my Yankee games ;) . Oh, and I can't do the last week in July.

Skyy, you're safe - I'm in Chicago the last few days of July.

I can really only do weekends, so maybe 7/15-17 or August 12-14 since I changed my Vegas dates in August.

I stay at Borgata, but of course can get to anywhere in town for a good party!

Here are my most likely dates for Atlantic City visits in July and August: 7/15-17 and 8/12-14 (both Friday through Sunday). I "might" be able to get up there on a Thursday night, but not sure about that right now.

Does anyone have any preferences between those two dates to try and have a little AC party? I really don't expect it to be all that organized, like getting a group rate (I *know* I don't have that kind of pull at Borgata) but even if we're all at different places, we can meet up somewhere for a few drinks, some games, maybe even a "pubcrawl" up the boardwalk.

We hit A/C at least once or twice a month, pick a date and maybe we can be there. We stay at hilton, to build the comps for Paris. But I hear hilton is being sold so my comps my go up in smoke. So far I have enough to cover 4 of our 7 night trip in Sept. at Paris. Hey Kitty, you seem to go to Vegas and A/C alot any idea whats going on with all the sales. I always book the room from an offer at Hilton so I don't have to use my comp dollars. I switched from Harrahs to Hilton because of the Vegas hotels each owned, lost my diamond status at Harrahs and now it looks like Harrahs is buying Paris? It is all to confusing. God help me I hate chasing the comps but they are so enticing.

Whobeme, there are two possible dates - July 15-17 and August 13-15th.

As far as the sales, I can't help you. I really only play at Borgata and Claridge in AC, and whatever comp dollars I earn at Claridge I use for the Paris breakfast buffet. I don't yet have a "home" in Vegas, so I just go where ever I can find the best rates booked directly with the hotel.

smile.gif I am so there, I have been waiting for a reason to go to AC, Bob doesn't really feel like going, but I think maybe I can bring some girlfriends down with me and have lots of fun! Ohh and it's not a horrible drive from NH.

You decide the date and time, I am pretty flexible during the summer.

Either August 13-15 (Saturday & Sunday nights) or August 12-14 (Friday & Saturday) works equally well for me. I could take off either the Friday or Monday, although probably not both.

Ron, at this point, I expect to be there the weekend of July 15-17th, although they aren't booking the comped rooms yet for that timeframe.

I'll let you know, if that sounds feasible to you.

I've got reservations made at Borgata for two weekends this year, Friday July 15-Sunday July 17 and Friday August 12-Sunday August 14.

If anyone can make either of those weekends, let's party! I'll buy the first round at Gypsy Bar!

I'm gonna bump this, as anyone thinking of attending an AC get-together probably needs to start thinking about getting reservations fairly soon. Summer looks like it'll be busy at the beach, as usual. The bikini beach bars are starting to open this weekend, and of course they will be included in any Boardwalk pubcrawl we may happen to do!

So far the dates that have generated more interest are August 12-14, although there is also the possibility of July 15-17. I have reservations for both those weekends so either works for me! Would love to see ya'll!

I know we just missed each other by days last summer. I want to try and get down to Borgata again this year, but it depends on my work schedule. We haven't been to the Quarter at the Trop yet either. I start a new job on 7/5, and it involves rotating schedule. Maybe we'll get to meet some of you T2Vers and have a mini-MM in AC (although it could never beat the real thing).

Good luck with the new job! I get to AC about once a month, and am always up for spending some time with T2V'ers. The Quarter is nice - makes me think of Desert Passage in Aladdin more than a little. Hopefully you can make it in August - I'd like to start at The Quarter (with Red Square and Cuba Libre almost side by side it's hard to go wrong!) and meander (read: stagger) up the boardwalk, stopping at some or all of the beach bars.

We live an hour or so away from AC presently but neither of us care for it much so we rarely go there, we prefer to save our quarters for Vegas! But it would be fun to meet some of you folks and since we will be MOVING to Vegas at the end of August it very well may be the last time we get to AC. Hard to say if we could go for sure since we're very busy between now and then but let me know what your plans are and maybe we can stop by for a few hours! Saturday or Sunday would be much more doable for us, although the table limits on the weekends will probably keep us from gambling away our moving money!

Sheik, you're more than welcome to join us!! I have a feeling it's going to be more about drinking and raising heck (saving the hell for Vegas) than gambling, but you never know.

I'll be getting in Friday - time to be determined but if I don't get out of work early it'll be around 9pm. But I'm good to party Friday night until I leave Sunday mid to late afternoon!
