Well after all of the trip reports and general madness of March I want to ask if anyone is available in August for a little madness in the heat? I was speaking to the hubby last night and we are going to be looking into August for our next trip. I do know that the weather will be quite warm (purposly being matter of fact about the heat) and most people do not like to go to the desert in the summer but with all the cool drinks and air conditioning why not?
Prices are cheeper in the summer so come one people lets party in the heat this time!

I'll be there, Sammi! :D
I don't have a pool at home, so I'm gonna lounge at the pool at somebody's hotel!

I'm booked for June dammit. Will possibly be back at some point in the fall, and talking about another November or December trip when it's cheap.
Although I won't rule out if we get yet another set of freebie tickets and start getting offers that we won't return in August smile.gif

Mikey, you are welcome to lounge with me, Frank NEVER comes to the pool so although TI is not the greatest pool on the strip, it is cool, and the drinks are cold and potent! August sounds like it is almost booked so lets see if we can get this together, I have to meet some of you all. Kikky we have to meet up somewhere for a drink at least! You sound like a lady after my own heart.

I was there at the end of August last year Sammi and it really wasn't that bad. The hottest it got was 104 and it really didn't feel like it. I loved it!

We're booked at Wynn for the June trip. Maybe we'll like it & try to get back in August! I bet they'll have a pool worth lounging around!

I'm booked in for July 1 thru 7. LVC the first 3 nights, then got 2 free nights at the Evil Empire. Final night is a 4 guys/1 room sausage fiasco, but whatever. Airfare was kind of high, so I used frequent flyer miles that I've had for about 8 years. 7/2 is supposed to be the big centennial celebration, what's that about? I heard about a big concert, but I don't know where or who.

Nothing like putting the cart before the horse here. Sammi, did you have any specific dates in mind so I can fire up Travelaxe?

I have never been to Vegas in the summer either, however going to celebrate the big 40 in July. I love the dry heat too.
I'll be there from 6/22 until the 26th. Looking forward to getting my money back from the last 20 trips graemlins/beerchug.gif

Why not try Labor Day weekend and the immediate aftermath. Think I might head back as Sept 6 is the birthday and I've never spent my birthday in Las Vegas before.
