Although I'm not 100% recovered yet from MM2 I'm IN for next year. Opening round of the men's NCAA for 2006 is Tuesday, March 14th. Happily for me, this works around my payroll schedule a LOT more than it did this year. I propose tentative dates of 3/12-3/17, give or take a day like many of us did this year.

Who's with me??

After last night's phone call from the bar at Barbary Coast, my hubby wants to go to Vegas with Mikey again. I told him he was forbidden to go alone. Mikey is NOT a good influence!!! I know we'd love to go, but probably won't. We're going in January.....

I was thinking on the way home how much fun it would be to get a get together at a cheaper, less-crowded time. I'm good for a summertime date (and already booked for June 19-22 if anyone else can make it!).

I still have to decide if I can make it.. I might be getting my hair done that week. But, if the stylist finishes in good time. I may be able to show up for a quick toss of the dice and thats about it.

Sure Drea! Although I will have to put out the caveat that the dates I have are tentative... got some stuff going on at work that might blow up right about then. Fingers crossed that it doesn't happen, but just wanted you to be aware that although I have plane tickets, June 19-22 isn't written in stone yet.

Sounds great! Mine's tentative as well (my friends are flakes) I have the room booked, but no plane tickets yet, I want to make sure that everyone who has said they are going actually comes through. I will be by myself (they come in on the 23rd) so I can use the company. Oh and by the way just to let you know...I am going to Mexico in May and well, the reason why I am going is because we are checking on our Mezcal and negotiating with certain tequila companies, one of which I know you enjoy thoroughly. Anyways the point being that we always bring A LOT OF TEQUILA back with us and I was planning on taking it to Vegas with me and you are more than welcome to have it!

Ok, JackEric says my dates are messed up... rather like I was somewhat recently - I think that's what he is trying to tell me ;)

3/14 is some preliminary game that nobody gives a rats-ass about, and the REAL MM starts on 3/16 (how convenient, says the birthday girl)... so 3/15-3/21 or thereabouts sounds more feasible.

Either way - I am IN!

If we can come up with a definate date, I can get us a few rooms blocked at casino rates. Also know a couple of the girls at check-in so I know that we can get some rooms on the same floor.
Let me know if anyone in interested. I sure as sh*t am interested.
BTW, I can also get tickets to their better shows for free. Not the cocktail ones that you buy a drink at. The new showroom will be open at that time too. MM3 could equal MM2, but I doubt that it could be topped.

My ship is supposed to be back in time...but know they are saying the the 6 month deployment could be 8 months. I'd love to help you out, but I won't know anything definate until around Thanksgiving.

I can't promise anything but after the way I cried to my hubby about being home while all of you drunks ;) had a good time I can almost guarantee that next year I will be there. I was actually almost on a plane but alas the babysitter (m-i-l) put her foot down when she heard that hubby would not be attending...she had to go and get her hair done... graemlins/cry.gif which was even more painful.

I've read the trip reports (up to this point)(I think) To venture an invitation for MM3 at this point only reflects what is enclosed in each story ..... you guys are numb~~ and have so much fun achieving that state of mind Unless Al Q. Aida interferes with the disneyland for adults, I want to go next year and I too am interested in Don's offer of rooms (if booked early I suppose) and possibly close proximity / same floor I need to show my wife there are indeed a whole community of people who are just like this man she married (someone belched during this time I'm hoping after about 8 hours on the BJ table)
It is one thing to chat and brag on this board or any other, it is quite another thing to actually fulfill the challenges and appear to all to be having such a good time Maybe a separate post section for MM to find easily for updates? could be set up? Anybody?
Hope to see you all next year and share in some of the buffoonery and bounty ANY t-shirts available? You guys are great!~!

I think next year we're getting personalized shot glasses, so we can avoid the drinking glass sized shots that Terry poured from Mutha this year (and last, from what I heard).

Actually Bill & I discussed having shot glasses imprinted with T2V MM2. This was before Kokobeach brought up t-shirts - we thought those would be easier to carry around than breakable shot glasses.

I said all along I was going to grab the first decent rate I found - and it's found!

Joining the rest of the hooligans at the Plaza 3/15-3/19. Junior Suite for $59/59/79/79. For MM? Sure! Oh I hate dragging up old threads, but the Plaza junior suite is running $54/54/94/94 now. CK, you may want to check and see if they'll cut the rate on those first 2 nights. That $10 can go a long way downtown :wink2:
