Hey gang--
I know that there's been talk of hitting the Gold Coast pretty hard after the Voodoo Lounge, but I'm not sure I can make that part of the buffoonery. After a couple of hours at the Voodoo, my Phoenix boys and I will stumble downstairs to Fiore to try and absorb some of the alcohol with generous quantities of steak and seafood. It'll take us a couple of hours to get through that, and by that time you guys will have already broken the bank at the Gold Coast and be neck-deep in silicone and G-strings.
I don't think our dinner reservation is until 7:30 or 8:00 pm, so we should have a couple of quality hours of lubrication there meeting everyone.
Now, as far as Thursday goes, my boy Ed W arrives around noon, and I'm picking him up at the airport, then we're hustling over to the Frontier to get him checked in, so we probably won't be downtown till sometime after 3pm. But we'll make our way down to the Bermuda Triangle that links the LV Club, Plaza, and Main Street Station, and find our way to the Brew Pub, and I'm sure we'll find SteveB somewhere along the way. So we'll be there at the MSS brew pub to hoist a few, and for sure make an an appearance on the web cam.
But then Eddie B and Derek arrive around 7pm, so I'm gonna tell them to just meet us there at MSS at that time. After that, I'll probably have to defer to them for the rest of the night's activities, but we're likely to stay downtown and go a little nuts for several hours.
I should also have T-shirts on hand by then, so I'll need to know who's going to want them on Thursday vs. who wants them on Friday, so I don't have to lug around extras with me and worry about leaving them somewhere.
Anyhow, that's the plan--Thursday afternoon and evening, I'll be downtown, Friday about 5:30 until dinner time we'll be at the Voodoo...
I believe Eddie wants to play some poker with Terry and trade golf stories at some point, too.
