I'd be game for a few beers on Sunday, at BC.
I can take the shuttle back to Orleans. Whatever time you guys think is good, works for me.

I was thinking later, since my friends from MN are flying in later that night.

But then again, I'll have 4 days to spend with them...and we probably should make it earlier for those of you who have to fly out the next day. So I'm up for 5.

I guess what I'm saying is: I'm easy, and I'll be there whenever. Just give me a time. If my friends get bent out shape, I'll just bring them along to meet the rest of you Hooligans.

Don't worry, jcbsmom. Once I get planted at the Barbary, I usually end up staying a LONG time. I'm sure we will be there for quite a while after 5. I might, however, have to set an alarm on my phone or something to remind me to actually get there. By 5 o'clock on my first day, I might be a bit forgetful graemlins/beerchug.gif

I still haven't been able to confirm if I can go Mar 22 - 29. Hopefully I will know within the next week or so.
I seen on the big meet that they r posting pics so they can pick each other out in the crowd. Thought perhaps this group may like to do the same.

ARRGH! Stupid Navy! I feel like I've been saying that a lot lately. I love my job, and I take pride in it, but come on!

Now it looks like our schedule is going to change AGAIN! Instead of leaving the week after I wanted to be there, the Captain is looking at going out to sea the week of MM2.5. GGRRRRRRR

If that happens, I'm going to put in a Special Liberty chit for Monday the 21st, and then I'll fly out Sunday morning...meet everyone at BC from 5-8, and then spend the rest of the night with my Midwest friends and then fly back home on Monday afternoon...and then go out to sea Tuesday. But that means I can't get drunk so I can at least have good memories when I'm out to sea.

If the Captain doesn't let us know within the next week, then I have to fly to Vegas in uniform to get a last minute military discount.

Usually I only wear my Hawaiian shirts when I'm in Vegas, but I figure I gotta wear my MM2 T-shirt when I meet everyone. Is anyone else going to wear theirs on Sunday so it's easier to pick people out, or will they all be drunkinly soiled by that time (the t-shirts I mean)?

Nope. Trying to get a room for MM2 this late is almost impossible. Even for a regular like me. When I called the host at the Flamingo to see if I could get a decent rate for MM2, she laughed at me.

Does that mean there's no eating a breakfast buffett off of a nude Kikky on the 21st? Even if I'm in uniform? graemlins/blink.gif

I'm not patti, but if I may...

1) go to www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com) and sign up for a free account.
2) log into your free account.
3) click on the "browse" button, find your pic, and click on "Open" then "Submit".
4) your picture will now show up on the photobucket site, and the code to paste into a message here will be in the third box underneath the picture, just copy and paste.

My friend from the States is suppose to get back to me this coming week to let me know if she can go or not. If she can she most likely wouldn't be able to stay as long as me.
I have checked into the air and have a small credit I have to use or loose but haven't looked into the hotel as of yet. I have everything crossed that it works out.

EDITED TO ADD: It is starting to look promising but I'm not getting my hopes up as of yet as there is still a few obstacles to get through. I got a snail mail offer for some free nights so I am looking at that as "u r meant to go"....lol
Looking at arriving on the 22 and departing on the 29 as of right now.

This site is a terrible idea for anyone with an addictive personality--like me. Bosco turned me on to this site on Friday while visiting the Hoosier State. I think his day to day reality resolves around a shiny town in the Nevada desert. I will me coming to LV with him the 20th - 24th. Some day I will learn my lesson about coming to LV with him. I am looking forward to meeting you all at the Barbory at 5 PM on Sunday. Don't get me wrong, Bosco is great fun. Besides the time I dumped him at the El Cortez on his birthday, we always have a fantastic time. It will be great to party with some new faces. We both will be at the Orleans Monday night trying to duplicate the craps run from last trip. As you can tell we love the low end.

Some of us are meeting at the LVC at the bar on the FMS entrance at 6 pm. for drinks then off to the El Cortez to see Bosco's fav waitress ;) & then the LVC for blackjack. U r most welcome to join in. I won't let jet lag kick in...lol
We could still try and do something on the 23rd as well. There is talk of a meet at the Strat on that day as well but no times etc have been set. hmmmmmm maybe we could start a grain train at MSS and make our way down to the Strat?
