Bad News About MM2....

graemlins/cry.gif Well guys, I got bad news yesterday dealing with me going out for MM2. Airfare from Hartford is running close to $400.00 roundtrip for the 16th to the 20th. It is, however, only $198.00 RT on America West for going the 15th thru the 21st. Gee, that means in order to go I'll have to spend 2 extra days in Mecca. And to make matters worse, through Expedia, Tuesday at Key Largo is $40.00 and Sunday is $35.00. What should I do? ROTFLMAO!!!!! More importantly, who's going to make sure I don't crack open the hallowed bottles of Paton before the meet? LOL!!
BTW, do we want Anejo, reposado, silver, all three?

I found a possible glitch in 3/16-20 for us. We're flying on Southwest Rapid Reward tickets, and I just found that Sunday 3/20 is a blackout date. Anyone know if that happens to be Easter by any chance? :(

Because of my work, staying until the 21st is out of the question. We could arrange for 3/15-19, but we're already booked at Orleans for the other dates. I guess we'll have to see about buying the tickets (and using the free tickets to make another trip! oh, the horror!)

I believe that Palm Sunday is on the 20th of March. That would make Good Friday the 25th of March, and Easter Sunday the 27th of March.

If you can do rapid rewards for the 15th, you can book that night at Key Largo for $40.00 through Expedia and then move to Orleans on the 16th.

D'OH!!! Didn't realize that the flight was having you leave on Saturday. I don't blame you one bit!! When I checked Southwest (not rapid rewards) they weren't even showing the schedule for March yet which is why I booked on America West. Just didn't want to wait! LOL

Southwest just opened up through March 5th this week, so it'll be a little while yet before they offer the MM dates. Free was a hard price to beat... bummer! But maybe I can get another trip out of it during non-blackout dates! tongue.gif

I thought the Big Ride was a demi-tradition for St. Patty's Day (or as it is known in T2V circles, Cinco De Mayo). That's a Thursday next time around, so maybe the 18th would work better for some people.
