Ra..Enough Said?

I was wondering if anyone has been to Ra at the Luxor lately. I went about two years ago and had the time of my life. The place was out of control! I know alot has changeed since then and was wondering if anyone has been there recently and what they thought. I've been here 3 months now and just always seem to end up at Rain..lol

i like ra. the layout of the club is great. the dancefloor is big and there's plenty of room to sit or wander around the bar. i think crowd-wise ra has gone downhill over the last couple years. last couple times i've been there, it's been below par. the music is always good though. rain is too expensive, and the lines are ridiculous. also, the dancefloor is tiny for a club that size. since i live here now, i like to go to places that cater to locals, and where i don't have to pay cover.

i guess it depends on what you're looking for from a club. i mostly like hiphop clubs with not too-cheesy crowd, and not too tourist-heavy. i think the cheesier clubs are bikini, beach, studio 54 and rain.

my favorite clubs on different nights are:
sundays - light
mondays - foundation room
tuesdays - studio 54
wednesday - dragon @ china grille
thursday - ra, light
friday - light, opm, whiskey sky (in the summer)
saturday - risque, ra
