has anyone go to the venus at the venetian? I got some free passes and just want to make sure if its worth while??

venus is pretty decent on weekend nights. it's not the best club in town, but there's a pretty good turnout. they have one dancefloor with like top 40 dance music and hiphop. the other room is a tiki themed bar where they play techno. doesn't make sense. anyways, djs are pretty dull and predictable. worth checking out as a first stop if you have passes, but i wouldn't pay cover to get into venus.

I was there and would also recommend stopping in. Good club - good atmosphere. I've got some good photos. If you email me, I'll send you a couple so you can get an idea of what you can expect.

I've had two mixed experiences at Venus in the last year. Both times the place was mostly empty and this was on a weekend... Service was okay but I still don't get the sense that this place is really happening...

I feel like Michael would agree that there are a lot of other places that are really happening, like Rain, ghostbar, Ra, Studio 54, Tabu, etc...
