First of all, thanks to everyone here for all the input and advice. This whole VIP thing is new for me and I want my money to go far. All your advice will make this special event great. I am between Rain and Baby's right now, leaning more to Baby's. How does everyone here feel about these two places? Does anyone know which has the better VIP area? I heard Baby's is really small, so I don't know how VIP would work there.

every club is so different on different nights of the week. depends on what kind of crowd you're looking for, what kind of music, etc...

baby's is smaller than rain, but on certain nights, it might have more of what you're looking for.

personally i dislike rain b/c of their tiny dancefloor. also, at rain you pay for the VIP booths seperately from the bottle service i believe. so you would have to pay to get a booth, and then pay additional to get a bottle, but you might want to call and find out for sure.

Yes spinfamoose is correct, if you want a booth at Rain (smallest still holds 6-8 people) you pay for the booth (cheapest is $300) and then have to pay for a bottle on top of it ($275 I believe).

But I think they have "tables" available as well. Not sure what the deal is with them. Maybe you just have to pay for a bottle to get one of them??? (just guessing)

On their website they give the e-mail of the person to contact and she'll respond to any questions you have promptly.

I have also found out that not all places with table reservations get you into the VIP area. Also, I do not think those VIP tickets that can be bought online get you in the VIP area. I think all they do is allow you to not have to wait in the long line. You need to contact every club and find out what their policies are. I know at Studio 54 you can get a table with a bottle reservation but you still have to pay the cover charge. Other clubs cover charge is included in price of bottle.

I'm looking at Friday or Saturday right now. I want to go to Baby's simply because I have heard better things about the place. I'm just afraid that there won't be that big of a crowd in October since there will be a lot of conventioneers in town. I don't want to pay a few hundred dollars and end up at a near empty club that didn't have a line to begin with. I'm sure Rain would be a lot busier, but I believe they charge a lot more.
